Zayith Foods, a leading dairy processing company, is seeking a dynamic Accountant with expertise in cost accounting within the food production industry.
Work Days: Monday to Saturday
Location: Surulere
Responsibilities:
– Assessing fixed and variable costs to determine total manufacturing costs
– Analyzing profitability, compiling company budget, and recommending policy amendments
– Evaluating labor rates, depreciation, and overhead to suggest improvements
– Recommending changes in policies for enhanced cash flow
– Preparing reports based on inventory reserve analyses
– Conducting cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
– Managing balance sheet, performing account reconciliations, and preparing audit reports
– Recommending process and policy changes for cost reduction and profit maximization
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from a reputable university
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cost accountant in a food and beverage company (Non-negotiable)
– Accounting certification is a plus
– Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, Google Sheets, and analytical tools
– Excellent attention to detail, self-starter, leader, and team player
– Strong oral and written communication skills
