Customer Service Representative

Job Description:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers have a delighttul experience. You will be the face and voice of our bakery, providing excellent customer service handling inquiries, and assisting customers with their orders. This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team in a thriving bakery environment.

Responsibilities:

-Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Listen attentively to their needs and provide personalized assistance

-Order Management: Take customer orders in person, over the phone, or online. Ensure accuracy in order details, pricing, and deliver/pickup instructions

-Product Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of our bakery products and be able to describe them to customers. answer guestions. and otter recommendations.

-Problem resolution: Address customer concerns or issues promotiv and effectively. Work

collaboratively with the bakery team to resolve any product or service-related problems

-Invoicing: Process orders promptly using dedicated software

-Reporting: Compile and send periodic communications reports to senior management

-Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the customer service area clean and organized. Ensure the bakery’s overall cleanliness and hygiene

-Stock Management: Assist in restocking bakery items and maintaining inventory levels. -Monitor product freshness and quality.

-Upselling: Suggest add-on items, promotions, or special deals to customers to maximize sales opportunities.

-Shift Coordination: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications:

-Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or food service environment.

-Excellent and prompt communication and interpersonal skills

-Friendly and approachable demeanor

-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and ability to communicate with clients on multiple platforms simultaneously

-Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stresstul situations with composure -Computer skills for order entry, emailing, and reporting; proficient use of MS Word, Excel, Whatsapp and general online shopping capabilities

-Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
